Urgent needs
We are in need of funds to purchase three Epi-Pens (an in-kind donation would be equally acceptable). The cost of the pens is prohibitive and well beyond Deep Roots’ budget capacity. We would add these pens to our First Aid kits for use in emergencies. Not all of our families have health insurance and even for those who do, the cost can be unaffordable. The location of Clairvaux Farm means that it can take an ambulance 10 or 15 minutes to arrive, a considerable delay.
We are generally low on: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, kleenex as well as plastic wrap and aluminum paper.
With regards to general furniture needs, we have special need of: bedframes and mattresses, both twin and full sizes. Please fumigate your furniture for bedbugs.
For the Dining Hall, we could use an influx of heavy duty melamine or child-friendly dinnerware, especially plates, bowls, cups and silverware.
For the Family House, we need: 8 storm doors.
For the Education Building, we need: projector for instructional purposes.
